Atherton Birds of Prey is a family run business owned and operated by Mark Culleton and Olivia Knapman. Mark has been in the zoo/tourism industry for 20 years and has worked with many species, including dolphins, sea lions, crocodiles and birds from all over the world. Mark is a professional member of the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators (IAATE).

Peter Odekerken has an avid interest in the conservation of wildlife. He has gained much experience as an aviculturist but also enjoys studying and photographing birds in the wild. His particular interest is the parrot family and has lectured on various forms of parrot in many countries around the world.
