A Guide to Austrailan Monitors in Captivity - Book Review

Friday, October 26, 2012

As a long-time keeper of many of the monitor species included in A Guide to Australian Monitors in Captivity I was astounded by the complete detail that Dr Danny Brown has put into this guide. From the basics to the expert knowledge that is included, this monitor book is for everyone. Dr Danny Brown has covered everything for keeping these reptiles in captivity—from Choosing the right monitor species, Housing, Feeding, Safety, Cleaning, Health, Lifespan, Breeding and Incubating and the list goes on!

There are over 350 colour photographs that provide excellent visual examples around the 264 pages of written information.

A Guide to Australian Monitors in Capitivity is the best monitor book I now have! Well done Danny—it will be hard to beat this one!

I look forward to reading the other A Guide to reptile and amphibian books
